Honey Processed sample
With Haiti’s chronic water shortage, we’ve been experimenting w/ honey processed coffee (no water used).
We’re liking the results – hope you do too.
Honey Processed coffee is different than washed coffee: the skin and most of the pulp are removed, but the sticky, slimy mucilage (honey) remains. We’re doing extended fermentation of this wonderful gooey mess in carefully monitored containers.
Then we meticulously dry, sort and pack in grain-pro.
Not only is this coffee excellent, we’re saving tens of thousands of gallons of water from being contaminated through processing. Now that’s a win-win.
